In an elegant evening filled with the essence of culture, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jeddah hosted the Germany Roadshow Jeddah 2025, organized by the German National Tourist Office – Gulf Countries, and attended by leading representatives from the travel, media, and tourism industries in the Kingdom.
The event was part of a regional roadshow across several Gulf cities, aimed at strengthening tourism cooperation between Germany and the GCC countries while showcasing Germany’s rich offerings in nature, culture, art, and innovation.
During the gathering, Yamina Sofo, Director of the German National Tourist Office for the Gulf Countries, presented an overview of the growing number of Gulf visitors to Germany, highlighting the Saudi market as one of the most significant and sophisticated in the region—known for its appreciation of culture, luxury, and refined travel experiences.
A distinguished lineup of German partners took part in the event, including Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH (visitBerlin), Lufthansa German Airlines, Eurowings, as well as representatives from Ingolstadt Village, Wertheim Village, and Outletcity Metzingen, who introduced the latest shopping and leisure experiences awaiting travelers in Germany.
The evening offered an inspiring atmosphere of dialogue and cultural exchange, where participants explored opportunities in sustainable tourism, wellness travel, and high-end experiences. The presentations also highlighted the timeless beauty of German destinations—from Munich and Berlin to Bavaria and Franconia—where modernity meets breathtaking nature.
With this event, Germany reaffirms its position as a top destination for Gulf travelers seeking luxury, culture, and authentic European charm, continuing to build bridges between nations through art, hospitality, and mutual respect.
