L’Oréal Saudi Arabia and Education for Employment Join Forces to Create Career Pathways for Saudi Women in the Beauty Industry

L’Oréal Saudi Arabia, through its flagship Beauty for a Better Life program, has announced a new milestone in advancing women’s empowerment and employability across the Kingdom’s growing beauty industry. The L’Oréal Foundation has granted €100,000 to Education for Employment (EFE-Global), a non-profit focused on youth development across the MENA region, to strengthen vocational training and job placement opportunities for Saudi women pursuing careers in the beauty industry.

This strategic partnership aims to empower 1000 Saudi women by 2030, bridging the gap between education and employment while contributing to Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives of economic diversification and increased female participation in the workforce. Through specialized training and professional development, the Beauty for a Better Life program equips women with essential skills to thrive in salons, spas, and retail environments. In 2025 alone, 40 graduates have already secured employment across the Kingdom, marking the beginning of a long-term impact in the program’s journey that aligns with L’Oréal’s global sustainability ambitions.

This collaboration unites L’Oréal Saudi Arabia’s global expertise in beauty education and local community development with Education for Employment’s proven employment model, ensuring that training translates into tangible job opportunities. By integrating technical skills, mentorship, and career guidance, the partnership supports Saudi women in developing the confidence and qualifications needed to contribute meaningfully to the Kingdom’s evolving beauty economy.

“At L’Oréal, we believe that beauty has the power to transform lives. Our strategic partnership with Education for Employment is a testament to this belief, as we equip Saudi women with the tools, confidence and opportunities to shape their own futures. L’Oréal in Saudi Arabia has already touched the lives of over 35,000 people through social impact initiatives. With this partnership, we are not just continuing, but significantly strengthening our promise to champion and empower Saudi women for a brighter future” said Laurent Duffier, Managing Director of L’Oréal Saudi Arabia.

Amr Abdallah, Director of Programs, Gulf Region added: “Building on the success of our 2025 partnership, this second phase with L’Oréal Saudi Arabia marks an exciting new chapter in empowering Saudi women. When women gain access to training and employment, entire communities’ benefit. Partnering with L’Oréal Saudi Arabia allows us to open new doors for Saudi women in the beauty industry, we are not only helping them excel professionally, but also enabling them to become changemakers who drive innovation, creativity, and progress across the Kingdom.”

The Beauty for a Better Life program is part of L’Oréal’s long-standing global social impact agenda, offering free, high-quality beauty training to individuals in vulnerable situations. Since its launch in 2009, the program has expanded to over 30 countries, helping thousands of participants access employment, financial independence and social reintegration.
