After closing for 40 years, the Royal Windsor Castle opens its garden to the public
For the first time since 40 years, the
administration responsible for the Royal Windsor Castle has opened its garden
to the public, and the park is considered one of the official residence of
Queen Elizabeth of Britain, and cameras have recorded preparations for this
event, and other events that include the enjoyment of visitors in Rockefeller
Park In Lower Manhattan and the splendor of nature, China
In the castle, in which the Queen spent the
past few months during the general isolation period in Britain due to the
Corona virus epidemic, before traveling to Scotland, visitors will be able to
wander around her garden, which was established in the 1820s, during the
weekends in August and September.
Today, the park includes 3,500 rose bushes
around a fountain in the middle, and boasts of its ancient history to meet
different tastes during the reign of kings over the centuries. Initially, these
shrubs were planted as a joy to the royal apartments along the eastern façade
of the castle
"The first park here was established
in 1824 during the reign of George IV. But before that, during the Middle Ages,
this area was a defensive moat," said Richard Williams
"To protect the castle walls, Charles II in the 17th century built this
porch on which we stand, and he also added bowling alleys because he enjoyed
bowling so much," added Williams.
