The General Authority of Civil Aviation has made sure that the new founder’s airport is one of the largest in the Middle East and Asia, and that it becomes a pivotal airport linking the East with the West.

While the coral reefs are made of silicone and latex, which represent the real coral of the Red Sea, the aquarium for the fish is provided with a lighting system that simulates the normal day cycle and is controlled automatically using 16 halogen lamps for daylighting, and 10 LED lights for night lighting similar to moonlight.

The aquarium contains about 2000 marine organisms and it includes 65 of the most famous species of Red Sea fish, most notably sharks, stingers, triggers, mono, and trifle, in addition to three quarantine systems to isolate new fish in independent ponds to adapt to the new environment.
